Over the Weekend #4

Hi there!

How was your weekend? did you go out and party? did you watch a good movie? did you have a romantic date with your significant other? if you did any of this or even got out of your house: good for you! i'm jealous!

Our weekend was full with chipped wood everywhere, paint all over my hands and clothes, frustration over not fitting pieces, a somewhat bored little furball and a creepy neighbour watching us from his window.

Germany is a weird place where you're not allowed to do any loud work on sundays (nothign is opened on sundays either!!!), which meant that we had only saturday to work on our closet. The construction is not that complex (see pitures below) but it takes A LOT of time! Raul cut all the pieces by hand and i painted them, but there is just so much you can do in one day. By 7 o'clock in the evening on saturday we had just one set of timbers (we need three) and an irritated (and very irritating) neighbour watching us reproachfully through his window. We noticed that he leans out his window many times a day, specially when it's "too loud" outside... creepy old guy with nothing to do, he reminds us of Lola, who also barks at everything that moves outside "her home".

We tried to do something on sunday too, but gave it up as soon as the old man appeared at his window for the third time in one hour. I guess we'll not be finished until next weekend.

We are sooo tired! And we still have sooo much too do!

Well, let's just take a deep breath and get things going! :-D

I wish you all a happy monday!
